Metal concerts shows?

so, lamb of god, killswitch, dragonforce, children of bodom, and testament are each playing near me soon. i'm 14. my mom wont let me go to any of them even though the rules say "nobody under 13 allowed unless accompanied by an adult." so that wouldn't even apply to me. she said that she just hates the music and that everyone who listens to them is covered in tattoos and is on drugs. so i asked her 4 a list of approved artists and the list consisted of "foreigner, daughtry, jonas brothers, elton john, bruce springsteen, etc" and i hate that ****, so she said "well, change your taste". ok, i have a friend whos going to go see cannibal corpse, and his mom doesnt care. so is my mom right about all this or am i the crazy 1?
