UK How is Nottingham to live in?

Nottingham is in the East Midlands, it has a very poor crime rate, and gun crime is rife. I'm certain though that there are nice parts to live in, but don't know the specifics. Yes, it is a university city, but I think you are a little misguided in thinking that Nottingham Forest is just that, a forest. Nottingham Forest are a football team that tasted glory in the late 70's, 80's & early 90's, but are now a shadow of the team they used to be. Sherwood Forest, where, legend has it, Robin Hood used to roam is beautiful, has a visitor centre,and is well worth a look.
